The contract here was to refurbish a play area which was past its best. This work involved the removal of existing run-down equipment, disposing of all the equipment before resurfacing with a state of the art soft play surface and installing new play equipment. New play equipment installed includes, new climbing units, swings, a roundabout and seesaw.

CLS were appointed contractors by Groundwork North Yorkshire on the Manor Road Park upgrade in Scarborough. The work comprised the upgrade of an existing play area to create an exciting 8-13 years play area including the creation of mounds and 'headlands' with some concrete reinforced slopes and the installation of new play equipment with safety surfacing. The new play area theme is based around natural and adventurous play and was funded partly through the Governments Playbuilder Programme.
