The project was for Mulgrave Sports Association and involved the construction of a flat bowling green at their new sports ground site in Lythe, near Whitby. The worked involved the grading of an existing terrace on a cut and fill basis to create a flat green base and surround path. The installation of a pop-up, automated irrigation system, including buried tank and all connections.

CLS were appointed contractors by Groundwork North Yorkshire on the Manor Road Park upgrade in Scarborough. The work comprised the upgrade of an existing play area to create an exciting 8-13 years play area including the creation of mounds and 'headlands' with some concrete reinforced slopes and the installation of new play equipment with safety surfacing. The new play area theme is based around natural and adventurous play and was funded partly through the Governments Playbuilder Programme.
